01Current payment options and the November transition
New self-service subscriptions, subscription upgrades, reactivation and renewing trial sign-ups are closed while Ident.ink prepares its November 2026 move to contract-only paid access. The launch day will be confirmed separately. Creating an account, discussing a partnership or donating does not establish a paid service contract. Basic account access remains subject to currently available features and limits.
Existing billing records, payment-method maintenance and cancellation remain available in Settings > Billing & cancellation. A future paid partnership requires founder approval and a separately agreed, signed contract.
02Optional one-off donations
The support area at ident.ink/pricing accepts voluntary one-off payments to Ident Group Ltd using Ident SecurePay. Sign in to an active account with a verified email, choose an amount from £1 to £500 in GBP and review the final amount before authorising the card payment. You must have authority to use the payment method.
A donation is charged once. It does not create a subscription, authorise automatic renewals, settle an existing invoice or buy product access, a plan, credits, priority support, a contract or future features. It grants no investment, ownership interest or promised financial return. Donating does not improve your chance of a contractual partnership.
This is support for a limited company, not a charitable appeal. We do not offer Gift Aid on these payments or represent that they qualify for charitable tax relief.
03Donation refund requests
We do not offer routine change-of-mind refunds for a correctly authorised, completed voluntary donation, except where applicable law requires otherwise or we agree to an exception. A future feature, launch or partnership not proceeding does not itself entitle you to a refund: none is purchased or promised by the donation.
Report duplicate, unauthorised or incorrectly processed charges promptly through Support. We investigate payment records and refund verified duplicate or unauthorised charges and other amounts required by law. A genuine mistake, including an unintended amount, may be submitted for individual review; a discretionary refund is not guaranteed. Mandatory legal remedies and lawful bank, card and processor dispute rights remain available.
04SecurePay and payment confirmation
Ident SecurePay uses Stripe's secure payment fields. Complete card details go directly to Stripe; Ident.ink stores only account and payment references, amounts and status needed to administer billing. Stripe or your bank may require additional authentication.
A checkout-page visit, pending bank authorisation or return to Ident.ink is not proof of success. A donation is confirmed only after the processor reports a completed payment and Ident.ink validates its amount and account ownership. Keep the payment reference and confirmation. If confirmation is delayed, use Retry payment confirmation or contact Support; do not start another donation merely because the page has not updated. Temporary bank authorisations and their release times depend on your bank and processor. A donation never activates a paid capability.
05Existing saved payment methods
A donation does not create a mandate to debit a saved method in future or restart a cancelled subscription. Existing payment-method management remains separate. Where an existing order already authorises recurring charges, a method may need to be replaced before removal while it is required for that active service.
06Existing subscriptions and transition notices
Closure of new subscription sales does not itself cancel an existing processor subscription. Check your billing record, paid-through date and cancellation status. Existing subscriptions remain governed by their accepted order and any applicable cancellation or transition notice. Recorded cancellation stops renewal from its stated effective date.
We do not charge for a new contractual partnership without separately agreed payment terms. Changes to existing paid access must respect the original agreement, required notice and mandatory rights. A transition announcement alone does not waive an existing customer's cancellation or refund rights.
07Mandatory subscription rules
Current mandatory consumer law continues to govern applicable existing orders. Any new mandatory subscription rules apply when legally in force for the relevant agreement. This policy does not impose an unlawful cancellation penalty, remove a statutory cooling-off right or require a more burdensome cancellation method than law permits.
08Existing trials
No new renewing trial is offered through the closed subscription checkout. An already agreed trial remains governed by its recorded duration, conversion price and any subsequent cancellation or transition notice. Check its billing status and cancel any continuing renewal before the displayed charge date if you do not want it to convert. A donation is never a trial or trial-conversion payment.
09Separately approved business contracts
Anyone can ask about a partnership through Support; an enquiry or application does not guarantee acceptance. Founder approval and the required signed agreement are necessary before paid contractual access begins. An application, NDA, donation or payment alone does not establish a service entitlement.
An accepted business agreement identifies the services, scope, limits, fees, currency, taxes, invoice and payment dates, commitment, termination and any renewal arrangements. Deposits, advance payments, procurement costs, service credits and refund conditions must be expressly agreed. A donation is not credited against a contract price unless Ident Group Ltd separately agrees this in writing.
The signed agreement governs its expressly agreed commercial terms, subject to mandatory law. This policy does not silently vary an existing agreement or authorise a new recurring charge.
10How to cancel an existing renewal
Use Settings > Billing & cancellation for the relevant project. You do not need to give a reason or discuss a partnership to cancel. Retired subscription-page addresses redirect to /pricing; that support page does not cancel an existing service. You may also submit a tracked cancellation request at support.ident.ink.
The cancellation result identifies the service and effective date. Unless your accepted order or a transition notice says otherwise, cancellation stops the next renewal and access continues until the paid period ends. Deleting an app, leaving a server, removing content or stopping use is not cancellation. There is no recurring donation to cancel.
11Cancellation evidence and service continuity
A successful cancellation produces an account record and, where email delivery is available, a durable confirmation. Keep the reference. If the interface fails, a clear cancellation statement sent through tracked Support before renewal is treated according to the time it was submitted, subject to verification of the account and service.
Cancellation of one capability does not cancel a separate capability, domain, usage charge or processor contract unless the confirmation identifies it. The interface must identify what will end, the effective date, any continuing access and any amount already due before confirmation.
12Mandatory consumer rights
Where consumer distance-contract law applies to a purchased service, you may have fourteen days after contract formation to cancel. If you expressly request immediate service during that period, a lawful proportionate charge may apply for service supplied before cancellation. A cancellation right for digital content may be lost only where the legally required express consent, acknowledgement and confirmation have been obtained.
Calling a payment a donation or describing a customer as a business does not remove rights where the actual transaction and applicable law provide them. These provisions do not replace stronger mandatory local rights. Contact Support with the order reference and a clear cancellation statement.
13Refunds for existing services and contractual orders
We refund verified duplicate or unauthorised charges, charges taken after an effective cancellation and other amounts required by law. If a paid service is not supplied with reasonable care and skill or does not conform to contract, statutory repeat-performance, price-reduction or refund rights may apply.
The November transition does not create a general discretionary refund programme for correctly supplied service. Except where law, an accepted agreement or an express offer requires otherwise, unused time, partial-period cancellation, forgotten renewal, promotional credit or under-use do not automatically qualify for a refund. If we end or cannot deliver prepaid service, we assess the affected order and applicable rights; a prior warning does not remove a refund legally due.
14Usage, add-ons and external costs
Consumed usage, domain registration or renewal, one-off setup, completed work and other non-recoverable third-party charges may be non-refundable only to the extent lawful and clearly disclosed in the accepted order. Processor fees are not automatically deducted from a refund owed to you. A refund of one item does not cancel an unrelated service.
For managed servers, seven days of basic temporary service and the dedicated provider commitment are separate stages. After the contractual seven-day full-refund promise, a valid charge or deduction must be itemised, evidenced, proportionate and within the exit-cost cap displayed at checkout unless a separate agreement applies. Cancellation stops future renewal but does not extinguish a valid amount already due.
15Failed payments and payment disputes
Retries, replacement-method requests or restrictions on an existing paid workload apply only under its accepted payment terms. A failed donation does not create a debt for services or remove basic account access. A donation does not authorise automatic collection attempts for a different payment.
Contact Support if you want us to review a billing problem; doing so is not a condition of exercising a lawful bank, card or processor dispute right. Deliberate payment fraud or knowingly false claims may be investigated under the Terms of Use. A genuine payment dispute does not by itself establish abuse.
16Making a request
Send the account email, invoice or payment reference, amount, date, reason and relevant evidence through Support. Do not send complete card or bank details. We acknowledge and investigate requests without undue delay; processor and bank settlement times are outside our control. Approved refunds return to the original method unless law requires another route.
Nothing in this policy limits a mandatory consumer remedy or lawful payment-card right.
